Finance & Compliance Coordinator at Child Protection and Women Empowerment Initiative

The Child Protection and Women Empowerment Initiative (CPWEI) is a women-led humanitarian and development organisation registered in Nigeria and headquartered in Damaturu, Yobe State. Since our establishment in 2017, we have operated at the frontlines of the humanitarian response in Northeast Nigeria, delivering multi-sectoral programming to conflict-affected populations across Borno and Yobe States with a deliberate focus on women, children, and youth as both primary beneficiaries and agents of change.

We have built a track record of accountable delivery under grants from UNMAS, UNOPS, the World Bank, UNFPA, the Global Fund, and other institutional donors. We maintain active coordination roles within the humanitarian architecture. Our staff and volunteers are drawn from the communities we serve, and our presence is recognised and supported by local authorities and traditional leaders across our areas of operation. We are equally committed to inclusive programming, ensuring that persons with disabilities have equitable access to our services and are meaningfully represented in all aspects of our work.
