About the Opportunity
Alles Charis Gas Limited is seeking qualified and capable HSE/Maintenance Officers to join its team in Ilorin.
The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment and promoting health, safety and environmental standards within the organization’s operations.
Job Summary
The HSE/Maintenance Officer will support the maintenance, safety and operational reliability of station equipment and facilities.
The role requires a technically competent individual with experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, safety practices and equipment repair.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes responsibilities related to:
- Maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment faults.
- Carrying out routine and preventive maintenance.
- Supporting health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Conducting risk assessments and supporting emergency response activities.
- Ensuring station equipment and facilities are maintained in safe working condition.
- Supporting safe and efficient operations.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or a related engineering discipline.
- Relevant Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) certification, such as NEBOSH, ISPON, OSHA or HSE Levels 1–3.
- Engineering degree and relevant safety certification.
Required Experience
Candidates should have:
- Proven hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Experience working in an LPG, oil & gas, manufacturing or industrial environment is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, safety regulations, risk assessment and emergency response.
- Ability to diagnose faults and perform routine maintenance on station equipment and facilities.
