About the Opportunity
ActionAid Nigeria (AAN) is seeking to engage a qualified Building Project Manager to coordinate the actualisation of its building project.
The Project Manager will serve as ActionAid Nigeria’s principal professional adviser and client-side representative throughout the planning, procurement, design development, construction, commissioning and handover of the organization’s headquarters building project.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will provide professional project management and advisory support throughout the various stages of the building project.
The role will involve coordinating the project teams and providing professional oversight to ensure the building project progresses effectively from planning through to completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities
The Building Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and providing professional oversight across the following stages:
- Project Planning
- Procurement
- Design Development
- Construction
- Commissioning
- Project Handover
The Project Manager will act as ActionAid Nigeria’s principal professional adviser and client-side representative throughout the project.
Reporting Structure
The Project Manager will be responsible to:
- Country Director
- Building Committee / Board
The role will also provide day-to-day oversight of the ActionAid Nigeria Building Project Teams.
