Job Title: Economics Teacher
Location: Osengere, Ibadan – Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Duties
- Lead and manage a class
- Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches for the students.
- Monitor teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of the students
- Plan and deliver effective sequences of lessons
- Identify and teach skills that will develop studentsโ ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Identify and teach skills that will develop studentsโ social independence
- Lead subject or identified area within the School Improvement Plan and ensure progress is at least good.
- Report Studentsโ progress
Qualification and Skills
- Should possess a minimum of B.ED, B.Sc(Ed), B.A(Ed) or an equivalent degree.
- NYSCCompletion is Compulsory.
- P.G.D.E. and T.R.C.N. certification is an added advantage.
- Must be fluent in EnglishLanguage(written and spoken) and should be a go-getter.
- Must be passionate about Teaching
- Must be conversant with 21st century ICT Tools.
- Must be computer literate, particularly with good proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Tools.
- Must be an excellent team builder and player.
- Must have a minimum of a year of teaching experience.
