Job Summary
The Project Engineer will provide technical support for project activities involving infrastructure, construction, rehabilitation and community assets. The successful candidate will support planning, implementation, monitoring and quality assurance of engineering-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for project implementation.
- Conduct site assessments and technical inspections.
- Support the preparation of bills of quantities, designs and technical specifications.
- Monitor construction and rehabilitation activities.
- Ensure projects meet required technical and safety standards.
- Work with contractors, community representatives and project teams.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Identify technical challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support monitoring and evaluation of infrastructure activities.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates with a background in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering or a closely related field are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree/HND in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Relevant professional experience in construction, infrastructure or development projects.
- Knowledge of construction supervision and quality control.
- Ability to read technical drawings and prepare basic technical documentation.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in field locations.
- Knowledge of community-based projects is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to Fufore LGA.
