Job Title: Community Asset Field Monitor

Duration: One Year, with possible extension

Job Summary

The Community Asset Field Monitor will support field monitoring of community assets and project activities to ensure that interventions are implemented properly and community assets are appropriately used and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular field visits.
  • Monitor community assets and project activities.
  • Document the condition and use of community assets.
  • Identify maintenance and implementation challenges.
  • Collect field data and photographic evidence where required.
  • Engage community representatives.
  • Report findings to the project team.
  • Support verification of project activities.
  • Maintain accurate monitoring records.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates with backgrounds in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Community Development, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Agriculture or related fields are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • OND, HND or B.Sc. in a relevant discipline.
  • Previous field monitoring experience is desirable.
  • Good observation and documentation skills.
  • Ability to collect accurate field data.
  • Good communication and community engagement skills.
  • Basic computer/data collection skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work in field locations.
