Job Summary

The Stakeholder Relations Manager will manage stakeholder relationships, databases and engagement systems supporting New Incentivesโ€™ programme activities.

The role involves coordinating stakeholder engagement and training activities, managing relationships with government and NGO partners, assessing engagement quality and supporting expansion activities into new operating areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply-Side & Stakeholder Relations

  • Supervise Stakeholder Relations Officers (SROs).
  • Supervise execution of expansion activities, including pre-planning, advocacy meetings and orientation trainings.
  • Supervise quarterly clinic staff training activities for assigned states.
  • Participate in quarterly activity mapping activities.
  • Conduct regular stakeholder relations outreach visits.
  • Ensure stakeholder satisfaction and address concerns when required.
  • Participate in New Incentives-led meetings and stakeholder engagements.
  • Participate in trainings, meetings and sessions with stakeholders.
  • Support liaison between Stakeholder Relations Officers and Supply-Side Officers.
  • Record stakeholder feedback using the organizationโ€™s reporting systems, including MyDay.
  • Review stakeholder engagement outputs for completeness and quality.
  • Manage stakeholder-relations processes and quality checks.

2. Stakeholder Engagement & Expansion

  • Support relationships with government and NGO partners.
  • Support expansion activities into new operating areas.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities and ensure effective follow-up.
  • Monitor stakeholder relationships and engagement quality.
  • Help resolve stakeholder-related issues.
  • Support effective communication between field teams and relevant stakeholders.

3. Stakeholder Relations Team Management

  • Provide regular feedback to the Program Manager on planned and completed activities.
  • Monitor the work status of team members.
  • Review work plans, tasks and work-day activities.
  • Follow up on outstanding issues.
  • Monitor the Master Expansion Gantt to ensure activities are completed on schedule.
  • Ensure meeting notes are updated and properly documented.
  • Support team planning and performance monitoring.
  • Support staff development and performance improvement.

4. Security Awareness

  • Report security incidents occurring within areas of operation.
  • Take responsibility for personal safety and the safety of team members during field activities.
  • Read and understand relevant security documents, SOPs and the Country Security Plan.

5. Other Duties

  • Perform other duties and special projects assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelorโ€™s degree, preferably in Health, Natural Sciences or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications or experience in the NGO sector are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within an NGO.
  • Experience with the Nigerian health system and clinic documentation is desirable.
  • Experience related to infant health and vaccination programmes is an advantage.
  • Experience collecting, synthesizing and drawing conclusions from health data is desirable.

Language Requirements

  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong proficiency in Hausa and relevant local dialects, both verbal and written, is required/preferred for the role.

Location & Field Requirements

Applicants should be Nigerian nationals already based in Gombe State.

The role requires willingness to work at remote public clinics and undertake field visits, including the use of public transportation where necessary.
